Pablo Villavicencio Lorini<\/strong> is the new FGW Professor for Clinical Genetics at the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane as of 1st January 2025. He is head of the first human genetics institute at the university hospital in Brandenburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Institute of Clinical Genetics in Brandenburg an der Havel is one of the newest facilities at Brandenburg Medical School. The focus is on the following areas of human genetics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oncogenetics (in particular hereditary tumor dispositions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ophthalmogenetics (in particular degenerative diseases of the eye)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neuroimmunogenetics (in particular CSF1R-associated leukoencephalopathies)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developmental genetics (in particular with reference to the BMP signaling pathway and ciliopathies)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research Inquiries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please use the following form for research inquiries to the Institute of Clinical Genetics.
