We are constantly improving the user-friendliness of all applications and strive to harmonise our provision with the Brandenburg Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BbgBITV).<\/p>\n\n<p>This accessibility declaration applies to the central web presence of the <meta charset=\"utf-8\"\/>Faculty for Health Sciences <meta charset=\"utf-8\"\/>\u2013 fgw.test.uva.de and its intranet.<\/p>\n\n<p>This declaration does not apply to project websites and web services of organisational units of the Faculty, which operate their own web presences.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Efforts to support accessibility<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The <meta charset=\"utf-8\"\/>Faculty for Health Sciences has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Digital accessibility is part of our mission statement.<\/li><li>Accessibility is part of our internal guidelines.<\/li><li>Within the institution, there are clear goals and responsibilities<\/li><\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conformity status<\/h2>\n\n<p>Partially compliant: this application is partially compliant with the requirements of EN 301 549.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Assessment method:<\/strong>\u00a0self-assessment<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Date of creation:<\/strong>\u00a02021<br\/><strong>Last inspection:<\/strong>\u00a02021<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Known accessibility problems<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Despite our efforts, certain problems may arise during use.<br\/><br\/>This is a description of the known non-accessible content. Please contact us if you find a problem that has not been listed.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Outside the main pages, alternative text content for images and tables is somewhat lacking.<\/li><li>There may be errors in the structure and content hierarchy or inks.<\/li><li>Not all documents have an accessible version.<\/li><li>Most videos have no subtitled or audio description.<\/li><li>Alternatives for audio files and silent videos are largely or completely lacking.<\/li><li>Maps are currently not accessible.<\/li><li>Online forms are largely not accessible. \u00a0<\/li><li>Moving content (so-called \u201csliders\u201d) cannot be switched off.<\/li><li>The homepage extension for \u201csimple language\u201d is currently still being worked on.<\/li><li>Web services requiring registration are partially not accessible.<\/li><\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Reason:<\/strong><br\/><br\/>As a Faculty, we have an extensive, diverse web presence and operate complex, central web applications with many participants. Our web presence and central applications were published in 2021 and do not meet the current standard for accessibility.<br\/>Various documents for office use (e.g. PDF files) have not been able to be fully converted, because of their variety and complexity.<br\/><br\/>We are working on providing our web content and documents in an accessible format.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Support for students and employees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Students with health impairments are aided by the support teams at the supporting universities<\/li><li>Employees are supported by the officers for severely disabled people at the supporting universities<\/li><\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Feedback mechanism<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>You can tell us about existing defects in our compliance with accessibility requirements.
