You will find us on the Neuruppin campus of the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our vision is competence-based, interprofessional <strong>education and training<\/strong> that is geared towards the individual needs of each learner. This means moving away from confronting all learners with identical learning and teaching content in a &#8216;watering can&#8217; approach. Accordingly, our research focus includes principles and concepts for the development of transparent, coherent and coordinated curricula &#8211; especially at the transition from initial to continuing education. The central building blocks are self-determined learning, individual-oriented teaching and feedback-oriented assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of our activities is the international LOOOP education research network, which we coordinate and in which around 250 health science degree programs (including 60 medical degree programs) from 65 countries are currently networked. This network is coordinated in close cooperation with the Institute of Medical Informatics and the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine CCM\/CVK at Charit\u00e9 &#8211; Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin and the Medical Faculty Association of the Federal Republic of Germany. Under Publications, you will find completed research projects from our team. We are currently <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>researching what factors promote and hinder the creation of curriculum maps in health professions such as human medicine, midwifery, and physician assistants. This research is being conducted with the help of questionnaires and interviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>recording and researching use cases that can be implemented with the help of curriculum maps. Aspects include, for example, quality management processes, accreditation of degree programs, or agile curriculum development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in these educational research projects or have ideas for further projects, we would be delighted to hear from you.
